Teddy Bear Killer Workshop

Teddy Bear Killer Workshop at SSDD24

Transform old teddies into new treasures!

Teddy Bear Killer Workshop is a unique and exciting opportunity for both kids and adults to explore their creative side while also learning how to repurpose an old friend they used to care for.

During the workshop, participants will have the chance to deconstruct teddy bears and use the materials to create new works of art or even new teddy bears altogether. This not only encourages creativity but also promotes sustainability by reducing waste. Just show up and get seated. Discarded teddy bears and tools will be available for all workshop participants, and workshop leader Felicia Hansen will be on location to guide and help you visualize your ideas. Come join this spectacular workshop!

Through the act of deconstructing teddy bears, participants will gain an understanding of the materials used to create them and how they can be repurposed to create something new. This act of transformation instead of creating new demonstrates the importance of caring for our environment by reducing waste and reusing materials. The workshop is also a call to care for the planet. By repurposing old materials and reducing waste, we are taking a step towards addressing climate change and promoting sustainability. Understanding and empathizing with the non-human inhabitants of our planet is crucial, and this workshop is a great way to promote that understanding while having fun. Teddy Bear Killer Workshop is a perfect example of how creativity, sustainability, and compassion can come together to create something beautiful. It encourages participants to think outside the box and promotes a deeper understanding of the materials we use and the impact they have on our planet.
