SSDD Junior
Explore Southern Sweden Design Days with your children and experience design in a playful and creative way! SSDD Junior is a part of the festival aimed at kids and young people, offering activities that spark curiosity and inspire creativity. During SSDD Junior, children can take part in various hands-on workshops and activities that teach them about design, materials, and different ways to create.
At the festival's main location, Lokstallarna, there’s a creative drop-in workshop area where kids can join fun activities like building play, recycling, upcycling, and more. Here, they can experiment and create with their own hands while learning about sustainability and the design process in a playful way. Last year, children could try marbling and spray painting, and they even got to meet Kamratposten's mascots "K" and "P" during one of the exciting workshops offered.
Several child-friendly activities will be organized around Malmö, giving families the opportunity to explore different parts of the festival while discovering the city's creative side through exciting treasure hunts and design walks.
SSDD Junior is the perfect way for kids to learn about design and develop their creativity in a fun and inspiring environment. So bring the whole family and give the children a chance to dive into the world of design during Southern Sweden Design Days!
