Malmö's international design festival

22–25 May 2025 the fifth edition of Malmö's design festival takes place. Explore a broad program filled with exhibitions, seminars and workshops at locations all over the city. Lokstallarna is the festival's main location with 6 000 square meters of exhibitions, a live studio with seminars and talks, activities for kids, and a food court. Southern Sweden Design Days is organised by Form/Design Center.

Theme 2025: ECHO

The theme for Southern Sweden Design Days is 'ECHO' and encourages exploration of the dynamic relationship between the past, present, and future. Like an echo, design is not isolated—it resonates, evolves, and influences its surroundings. Every design solution creates ripples, impacting both the environments it exists in and the people who interact with it.

PRE-SSDD

Later this spring you can get yourself a sneak peek of the upcoming design festival. ’PRE-SSDD’ in Folkets Park is an outdoor exhibition offering a preview of Southern Sweden Design Days. From 28 March to 21 April, you can immerse yourself in creative visions, processes, and projects from talented designers in the unique setting of Sweden's oldest folk park, a green oasis in the heart of Malmö.
