SSDD Studio is a key part of Southern Sweden Design Days, offering an exciting lineup directly from the Lokstallarna in Kirseberg. It’s a space where visitors can experience engaging panel discussions, seminars, and workshops, with contributions from both renowned and new designers, all tied to the festival’s theme.
Last year, SSDD Studio attracted many visitors with ten inspiring panel discussions and seminars. Among the highlights was a keynote speech by the American designer Stephen Burks, who opened the program. The festival was later inaugurated by Karin Svanborg Sjövall, State Secretary to the Minister of Culture, Parisa Liljestrand.
The studio has been a hub for important industry talks and creative exchanges. Past participants have included Ung Svensk Form, IKEA, Kährs, and Konstnärernas Riksförbund. SSDD Studio offers visitors a unique opportunity to dive deeper into the world of design, engage in discussions about the future of the industry, and gather new ideas and inspiration from both Swedish and international voices.
