A depiction of our objects of care
Some people come into our lives because they care about us, but most of the time we make our own choice about who we want to devote our care towards. There are also creatures we make an active choice to care about and who in turn are dependent on that. Many have children to direct their love towards, others choose animals as companions and some care for plants, either for their own enjoyment or the sake of pollinators. This behaviour says something about our need to direct our care towards someone or something, but also for our urge to feel needed.
The exhibition The ones we choose connects to this years theme "Care" by focusing and depicting the creatures and objects we bring into our lives and choose to care about.
