"MÖTESPLATS BAGERIET" is a meeting place created and built by LILLA SNICKERIET MALMÖ that facilitates meetings in the city where discussions can take place about how we use urban space, how we produce and distribute food and much more. Bagaren & Bonden is an organic artisan bakery that started in 2015. The bakery has a local profile with selected suppliers in Skåne. LILLA SNICKERIET MALMÖ is a cross-border project within the framework of my research focusing on local cyclical resource flows and my design practice in Malmö. The programme point concerns social sustainability, meeting places in the city, breaking patterns in the city, local design and small-scale production, distributed economy, diversified urban environment for reduced transport and packaging needs. The programme is a contribution to the discussion on sustainable urban development.
