An invitation to explore clothing redesign and local manufacture in a local studio/shop
I would like to invite people to have a look on how we can transform second hand garments into a new long lasting design, by selecting garments with good quality fabrics and materials.
I believe we have to learn how to consume less and better, that a good design brings joy to our lives, and if consumed consciously, doesn’t have to harm the environment. Ateljé Laga intends to create new ways to design using what already exists. Inviting people to reflect on and care about how their garments are made, and to value local manufacture and local small shops.
