Back to Nature's Basics
Back to Nature’s Basics;
What if we start seeing nature as a collaborator rather than a resource to exploit? Can we integrate its organic forms into our urban environments and everyday surroundings? Can we allow nature to remain in its most authentic form and thereby reduce our impact on the environment? Can we avoid excessive processing of natural materials? By minimizing processing, I am trying to create products and materials that exist in collaboration with what has been created by the chemical reactions in nature within the project. To what extent can we go back in the transformation of natural materials? In the fight against climate change, it is necessary to reassess our habits, traditions, and perspectives in all areas of our lives. How do we approach reassessing and transforming existing materials? By working together with nature as a co-creator, can we then reduce environmental impact and generate a sustainable lifestyle? Can we go so far as to cultivate some of our interior products in harmony with the ecological processes of nature? Addressing climate change requires increased ambitions at all levels. Empathy and understanding for both human and non-human life on our planet are fundamental. By creating with care, the project aims to inspire a culture of reflection, care, and preservation of diversity. The project is an invitation to reflect on our responsibility. By embracing nature as a creative partner and creating with care, can we contribute to a more sustainable and empathetic world? The concept of using foraged materials found in nature and growing products in various environments, turning designs into physical products in collaboration with the basic organic processes that make the material grow and decide its shapes. These materials, home to many living organisms, serve as the foundation of biodiversity and play a vital role in keeping the environment running in an economical way. 'Back to Natural Basics' encapsulates the essence of nature's ecological processes—a commitment to preserving biodiversity, economically giving back, and safeguarding primeval forests.
