The concept of "The Womb" functions as a metaphor. Just as a womb gives new life, the nurturing of the rebirth of forgotten objects provides them with a second chance to shine in all their imperfect glory. The exhibition is a deep dive into a world where the rejected is reborn and given a second chance!
I am driven by the belief that true beauty lies in imperfection, in the unique imperfections that give used objects their own incomparable character.
For me, the creation of "The Womb" has been an explosion of creative power. Objects and materials highlight certain limitations that are not obstacles in themselves but rather fuel for my creativity. We are surrounded by the discarded. For instance, when a visit to the local sushi restaurant is made for a delicious meal, they donate their waste in the form of avocado pits, which I, in turn, use for dyeing textiles. Working with recycled materials is partly an environmental measure, partly a passion; here, joy and creative desire are born and spread throughout every cell!
"The Womb" is an experiment and an invitation, to you - to experience a space created from what was once considered worthless, to feel the energy and desire that comes from creating something new from the abandoned. It is an exploration of how we can reassess our relationship with materials and consumption, and a call to see the possibilities in what many would discard.
