Kerry holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Illinois University. His passion for crafting began in childhood, and he embarked on his carpentry career by constructing homes with reclaimed timber. Over time, he honed his expertise in interior woodworking, working with various materials. Kerry expanded his repertoire through ventures into wooden boat construction and furniture design. His pursuit of excellence led him to attend a trade school in Sweden, where he gained expertise in window and door restoration and wood fabrication. Now retired, Kerry dedicates his time to personal projects, emphasizing sustainability by repurposing materials. He is committed to minimizing environmental impact through thoughtful design and construction practices.

Objects of desire, passionately crafted, from waste.

ROBERTSON ReDESIGN continues to explore the possibilities of waste material in creating unique and attractive interior, garments and objects that can be translated to a client’s needs. 

Designer Helle Robertson has a background in traditional tailoring, pattern cutting and fashion and has always been deeply interested in up-cycling and reuse. By working with a variety of recycled materials she hopes to inspire consumers and clients to see potential in their own waste, overproduction or discarded materials.

Sofia Kroon Walter has received material from friends and acquaintances – both textile and wood fiber – which she has given a new function and an artistic expression. Textiles rest on wooden constructions built at ReFab Lab during March, and the ceramics are a poetic complement to the whole.

Sofia is an artist and designer who works both illustratively, communicatively, conceptually and abstractly. Also participates in KKV Textiltryck Malmö and KKV MalmöVÄV.

Yang Yong Kang is a multi-disciplined designer whose practices are extensively related to materials and spaces. Addressing himself as a designer-maker with artistic approaches, he tends to contemplate things upon a deeper exploration such as analyses and background research. Currently he works with design prototypes, carpentry and his own artistic works. He works internationally but bases his studio in Småland, Sweden.
