Lately, Kristina has been working in the borderland between design, art and crafts. She is driven by the desire to create form and expression for the seemingly ordinary. She is not interested in effects and the grandiose, but the simple and low-key - not to complicate things.
Her work process is about scaling back, eliminating the unnecessary in order to find the essence. Everything must be questioned to have a justification - the result is timeless, sustainable objects for everyday life. Kristina constantly search for pure simplicity, always honoring and caring for the environment and truth to materials.
