What does it do to our creative and personal development when we are allowed to move freely within our creative process? The participants from the Graphic design and illustration program are at the beginning of their creative journeys. Folkhögskolan's free and empowering environment constitutes a time in their lives where they can fly freely without having to focus on market forces or clients.
In this exhibition the first and second year participants explore and display all the creativity and the opportunities they have been given at Fridhem. They want to make visible what artistic freedom does for their creativity and what happens when frameworks, limitations and requirements do not control the creative process. What does it mean to be CARE(FREE)?
Graphic design and illustration at Fridhems Folkhögskola works with a combination of digital and analogue techniques and often collaborates with other cultural programs at the school. This results in band posters, movie titles, image work for theater productions, album covers and all sorts of collaborations with other cultural expressions. Above all, personal development is in focus. It's just as easy to develop your style in ink drawing as it is to explore font design. Preferably at the same time.
