Ajja is a Swedish street artist based in Malmö. She loves to paint and use different art materials. Ajja creates colourful and expressive mural paintings mostly in the southern parts of Sweden: Malmö, Lund and Österlen. 

Originally from Växjö, Evelina is a graduate from Konstfack working with ceramic sculpture, drawings and paintings. Her work is characterized by an openness towards the process itself. She allows her changing thoughts and the conditions of the material to control which direction the work takes. This playful approach is of great importance to her. The course and the end result must in no way be predetermined from the beginning.

Felicia Hansen is a textile designer and artist focusing on sustainable approaches to textile design. She has a penchant for colour, texture and atypical materials. She mainly works on deconstructing post-consumer waste from the toy industry.

Hansen has a 5-year textile design degree from the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås where she specialized in weaving and sustainable textiles. She is based in Malmö.

Frida Rådlund (b. 1993 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a textile artist whose artistic practice revolves around the power of emotion and its powerlessness in human relations.

Frida, who is now based in Malmö, Sweden, explores textile techniques such as tufting, weaving and quilting.

Gustav Carlberg runs Carlberg Design, an industrial design company working with product design in a broad sense, but mainly with furniture, home accessories and lighting. Carlberg collaborates with companies, from first brief to final product. He also does Studio Projects, exploring new ideas. How a product can adapt to life is a big drive and inspiration for Carlberg in the design process. Construction and estetics is often airy but sturdy, and easy to understand. It should be possible to disassemble the furniture in your mind.

Ida Mared is an architect working at Stadstudio in Malmö.

Jollygoodfellow is a duo consisting of Lisa & Esa Tanttu. They work in the borderland between art, craft and design. A graphic expression from the design to the final piece. Often resulting in hand printed posters. Since sustainability is important to jollygoodfellow they use eco-friendly paper, organic cotton and reuse test prints through creative upcycling.

Kogl is a design duo consisting of Christian Sandbye and Jonas Oppedal, two MA students from Norway studying Design at KHiO. Kogl primarily operates within the spectrum between art and design, where they strive to demonstrate how familiar and intimate materials in our surroundings can be transformed into practical and everyday objects. This is achieved by transforming and challenging prejudice and perceptions through the use of form and materials.

Lærke Laura is a glassblower based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She enjoys the robust, adaptable and self-willed nature of glass, and challenges the classic minimalism through a playful and sensual expression. Everything is made with enormous love and respect for the material and the process, and every single piece of glass has been given special treatment.

In her work she focuses on recycling shards from failed glass, transforming something faulty into something new and beautiful. Her designs are contemporary fusions of sculptural and functional elements.

Moira Nilsson (b.1998) is a textile based artist, currently living in Dals Långed, Sweden. In the spring of 2023 she finished her Fine Art Bachelors degree in Textile-Body-Space at HDK-Valand- Campus Steneby. Her artworks share narratives around the human perception of nature and our surroundings. She walks over the line between reality and the surreal interpreting her experiences into material form. Nilsson dives deep into details and try to find the hidden possibilities within textile materials and techniques.

NMASA Design is a design studio based in Malmö, Sweden, run by industrial designer Javier Masa. The studio focuses on creating products and experiences with added value, embracing craftsmanship 2.0, and exploring solutions to the sustainability challenges faced by the industry. NMASA collaborates with companies and organizations from diverse sectors, with a particular emphasis on furniture and everyday objects.

Nora Lagström Jebara, Palestinian-Swedish multidisciplinary artist and designer. Currently pursuing a master's degree in mechanical engineering with industrial design at LTH. I'm engaged in exploring the intersection of form and function. Through my practice, I experiment with various materials like glass, metal and polymers, pushing the boundaries of geometry to create innovative and impactful designs. My approach is to emerge creativity with practicality and sustainability, aiming to face and address real-world challenges effectively. I strive to push the boundaries of conventional design.

Fashion brand Robert&Blad’s designer, Helle Robertson gave up fighting her own creativity, diagnosed herself with Pathological Salvaging Syndrome and decided to embrace her constant flow of ideas for upcycling, reuse and redesign. And so ROBERTSON ReDESIGN was born. “I don’t make products, I create objects to make people think" says designer Helle Robertson. “My work, quite literally deals with the consequences of the outdated systems for production and consumption that are still prevailing.”

After completing her masters at Oslo National Academy of arts - with a master in metal and jewellery. ÅKA Studio are Mimi Norrgren and Jeffrey Rogers, artists and designers recently relocated to Sweden from the UK. Their creative journey has culminated in a determination to build a business based upon sculptural integrity and sustainable material choices.

Mimi brings her love of sculptural form and texture to the Studio, honed during her years studying in the UK at Central Saint martins, The Ruskin School of Fine Art, Oxford and the Royal College of Art. As an artist Mimi has exhibited internationally.  

Jeffrey, having studied art history at Bristol University, went on to experience many years of practice in art studios engaged in carpentry, mould making and glass work.
