From historical farming methods to future food innovations.
Welcome to an inspiring day at Botildenborg! In connection with the spring market, we explore how our ways of growing and eating have changed over the centuries. We look back at sustainable methods, discuss current challenges, and explore future innovations.
On stage:
Statarmuseet & Julia Tuvesson – Three different ways to view porridge: How has it evolved over time? From simple everyday food to part of a fine dinner.
Håkan Persson – Historical lessons for a sustainable future.
Lina Jönsson, meal manager at Svedala municipality – Interactive activities for children on how we can promote vegetable consumption.
The day offers conversations, taste experiences, and exciting insights into how we can learn from history to create a more sustainable future. Throughout the day, we also invite local food and craft producers who will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their products. On the farm, there will be gardening activities for children.
