Site-specific sustainable interior and a material study with interactive paper sheets
Studio Nim
Studio Nim is a multidisciplinary studio where we work in the fields of interior, furniture, interaction and graphic design.

For this year's edition of SSDD, I have developed an interior concept for Studio Nims' premises. I present this concept with a model, along with the materials and processes used. With sensitivity to the location and the signs of previous activities, I work with custom-designed furnishings, furniture design, and reuse to meet the studio's needs. The goal is to create a multifunctional space for work, workshops, exhibitions, and meetings. Everything is executed with Hållbar Interiör's criteria in mind to minimize environmental impact.

In a research-through-design project, I explore printed graphics on plain paper as both material and a means of controlling a computer. I investigate how the affordances of paper and ink invite diverse interactions and how the imperfect real world influences the computer's interpretation of your intentions. These interactions leave traces behind, such as tears in the paper or the shapes of drawn lines. These variations, limitless in the physical world, become faint digital echoes in the machine realm. This is presented through a collection of prototypes produced during the process and a video showcasing the prototypes in action.
