A furniture designer at work
This exhibition presents a series of stools crafted from wooden offcuts and leftover materials, embedding an iterative element and an “echo” of their past lives. While the stools share a unified structure, their individuality emerges through a dynamic mix of wood and vibrant laminates, subtly referencing the design process and Malmö’s evolving urban landscape. Assembled on-site, the pieces highlight an intuitive approach to making, allowing visitors to observe the transformation firsthand and reflect on the evolving narratives within the materials.
