Rich Girls & Roadkills

Charlotte Rodenstedt is an artist, animator, producer, sculptor, game developer, scenographer, video editor, Olympic gymnast, ceramicist, crocheter, photographer and businesswoman (only one of these things isn’t true). Her work is an exploration of the absurd lurking in the everyday. From stuffed toys drowning in stoves to oral dishwashers and fridges stocked with feet, eyes, and livestock, her linocuts and sculptures turn the familiar into something delightfully unsettling.

The exhibition gives you a taste of Charlotte’s various fascinations. She uses diverse approaches and media in her linocuts, ceramics and roadkills, but they’re always underpinned with humour, brightness and sharp observation.

Fashion brand Robert&Blad’s designer, Helle Robertson gave up fighting her own creativity, diagnosed herself with Pathological Salvaging Syndrome and decided to embrace her constant flow of ideas for upcycling, reuse and redesign. And so ROBERTSON ReDESIGN was born. 

“I don’t make products, I create objects to make people think" says designer Helle Robertson. “My work, quite literally deals with the consequences of the outdated system for production and consumption that is still prevailing. So, fuck the system”
