12.00-14.00 Imri Sandström and The Waeve Reader - Drop in guidance
The Weave Reader is a card game for one or more players. It is a life-guidance game, no more mystical, and no less so, than life itself. The game is a tool to trace and interpret events, feelings, changes, and the different paths you have taken, are now on, or that you might take. As you draw cards, an image of a circle emerges, and a text is spelled out. The cards are then read and interpreted in relation to your life: past, present, or future. There is no winning or losing in this game; the objective is to read and interpret the varied and connected threads of the weave of life.
Imri Sandström is an artist, writer, and researcher. Born in the north of Sweden she now resides in the countryside in the south. Informed by feminist and decolonial thinking and practice, she is invested in issues regarding language, history, performativity, and transdisciplinarity. In 2019 she completed her thesis Tvärsöver otysta tider / Across Unquiet Times and earned her doctoral degree in literary composition from HDK-Valand, Gothenburg University.
