The New Digital

Jacob Enger is an industrial designer from Lund University’s School of Industrial Design, driven by a passion for bridging imagination and physical form. With a strong focus on sustainable materials and circular design, his work explores adaptability, longevity, and the meaningful interactions between people and objects.

During Southern Sweden Design Days, he is one of the designers behind The New Digital, a project that examines how we can reintroduce the physical presence of music in the home. Through tactile controls and an elegant design in aluminum and wood, the project merges digital convenience with a more engaging and focused listening experience, where the music player becomes an active element in the room rather than a background detail.

Alexander Pierre Bou is an industrial designer from Gothenburg with a degree from Lund University. His work revolves around tactility and user experience, exploring how materials, form, and interaction can create more engaging and intuitive products.
