Artist talk: Magoz discusses mixed media art, perception, and meaning.
Dexter Fine Art is delighted to host an artist talk with Malmö-based artist Magoz. Magoz will share insights into his mixed media art, creative process, and how this new body of work reflects his passion for challenging perception and meaning.
Barcelona-born Magoz (b. 1989), based in Malmö, has earned global recognition for his distinctive minimalist style characterized by playful visual riddles that invite viewers to look beyond the surface. His work challenges perceptions, mixing concepts where shapes are not what they initially appear to be, rewarding the attentive viewer with unexpected layers of meaning.
Magoz's impressive career includes collaborations with prestigious clients such as Apple, Meta, MIT, The New York Public Library, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Le Monde. His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including Gold and Silver Lions at Cannes, a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators of New York, and World Illustration Awards.
