”I have nothing to wear” – Innovation for a sustainable wardrobe

The most sustainable garment is already in your wardrobe!

"I have nothing to wear!"

Sound familiar? Despite an overflowing closet, we stand there sighing while the pile of "maybe" outfits grows on the bed. The truth is, we only wear about 20% of what we own. The rest? It hangs there like textile relics of hope and impulse buys.

But here’s the thing – the most sustainable piece of clothing isn’t the new, trendy purchase. It’s the one you already own!

At Circular Hub Twin Transition, we want to understand what actually happens to our clothes after they move into our wardrobes. We know how they’re made, we know where they end up when discarded – but the wearing phase? That’s still a mystery!

That’s why we’re experimenting with solutions to help you build a better relationship with your wardrobe. How about a smart mirror that gives you AI-powered outfit feedback (without being brutally honest, we promise!)? Or a wardrobe roulette that lets fate decide your look – perfect for those indecisive mornings!

We’re exploring digital services, physical products, and human behavior to make fashion more sustainable – and more fun! Because in the end, it’s not about buying more, it’s about using what we already have, but better.

So, are you ready to put your exisiting wardrobe to work? Welcome to our stand at Main Location!

Circular Hub Twin Transition is a EU-finansed project run by Science Park Borås, a part of The Swedish School of Textiles.
