From cultural-historical artifacts to the digital future.
How can historical design shape the digital solutions of the future?
In this exhibition, the digital design and development studio Intervaro collaborates with the cultural history museum Kulturen in Lund to explore how artifacts and ideas from Kulturen’s collections resonate in today’s digital design processes. By bringing together over 130 years of cultural history with Intervaro’s contemporary digital craftsmanship, a dialogue emerges between analog and digital expressions.
Visitors will see how details from historical artifacts—such as patterns, materials, and functions—inspire modern digital design solutions. The exhibition highlights design as an iterative process, where each decision builds upon a previous legacy. By showcasing this connection—from physical objects to digital experiences—we tell a story of design’s timeless power.
The venue, with its open storefront, allows passersby to catch a glimpse of this fusion of history and innovation—an installation where echoes of past design meet the digital world of tomorrow.
