My name is Tangerine and I am a product designer who loves experimenting with art and design in a sustainable way.

The purpose of my project is to prove that waste can have a value. I am creating a biomaterial made of fruit scraps.

My project explores space efficient hydroponic growing systems. The goal is to, with the use of a design that fits in even the smallest homes, encourage growing your own vegetables in addition to buying them. 

Through the growing process the user creates a stronger connection with their food and nature. Interacting with the plants in the growing system also contributes to reduced stress and quicker recovery for the user. 

My name is Clara and I am a designer whose passion and core interest lie in textiles and how we can create a sustainable approach to them. My project therefore explores whether changing attitudes towards used and damaged textiles can help extend their lifespan. I will exhibit an object that helps individuals maintain textiles in its first life, while also prompting reflection on which textiles are truly unusable and which are still functional but have been labeled as waste by society.

My project explores how a modular and adaptable wardrobe can be designed using circular design strategies to meet users' evolving needs over time.

My thesis project explores gamification and personalization as tools for preventing dementia, focusing on how design can support cognitive health and well-being. Through this work, I aim to create engaging and thoughtful experiences that make a difference.

I am a product designer with a focus on sustainability and circular design, with an interest in material reuse, demountability, and smart storage.

In collaboration with Kulladal Kitchens, I am exploring how an outdoor kitchen can be better designed for older environments by combining functionality with sustainable solutions.

My name is Pia, I am a German designer based in Sweden with a passion for sustainable and social design.

Together with the Swedish design company Nola Industrier AB, which makes locally produced furniture for public spaces, I am developing a sunshade for kindergarten yards. As greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, global temperatures are increasing at an alarming rate, causing severe challenges for both people and nature. Summers are becoming hotter and longer, making sunshades more important than ever - especially for children, who are very sensitive to heat and need extra care.

By working with user-centered design, I want to understand the needs of both kindergarten teachers and children. At the same time, I am researching durable, sustainable, and UV-resistant materials, ensuring a long-lasting and environmentally friendly solution. 

My goal is to create a design that makes the future more sustainable and to help both people and nature. 

I am a product designer passionate about sustainability and creating smart solutions for a more sustainable future. I believe in interdisciplinary collaboration and involving stakeholders from various fields in the design process to develop sustainable products.

My project, in collaboration with the nonprofit organization Kivik Tång, aims to improve their "marine allotments," where they cultivate the green algae sea lettuce (Rörhinna). The goal is to create a regenerative ocean farm that contributes to locally produced and sustainable food supply.

Members of the organization are involved from start to finish in a co-design process, where their expertise is combined with design methods to develop solutions that meet their needs. By collaborating with the members and engaging them in the design process, the project also aims to strengthen the community within the organization and equip them with skills they can use beyond the project's completion.

Heating our living spaces is essential for a comfortable life. It also makes up 2/3 of residential electricity use in Sweden. In a time of great environmental challenges, my thesis project investigates personal heating methods as a sustainable alternative to conventional space heating.

Hi! My name is Tova, I am a designer with a passion for social sustainability and user-centered design. I love creating solutions that are tailored to the needs of users and promote a sustainable way of living. 

My project focuses on raising awareness about the student-health services to encourage greater use of their resources among students. This is especially important as mental health issues are rising among this group, and needs to be addressed. Therefore the solution is brought to life through co-design, together with university students, to be sure their needs are met, and their voices have an impact on the design process. 

Hi! My name is Caroline, and I am a designer based in Malmö. I am passionate about creating products that contribute to a more sustainable future, where a circular economy is a given and recycled materials are the norm.

My project explores the idea of bringing the history of materials into focus. With digital product passports set to be introduced in 2025, I believe it’s time we start thinking more about our products' origin and the stories they carry. 

Could furniture be seen as subjects rather than objects? Through storytelling, my project will explore how furniture design can reveal the past lives of the materials from which they are made.

My thesis focuses on creating privacy for families living in small spaces, exploring how clever design can offer both comfort and personal retreat, no matter how tight the square footage. I believe in crafting pieces that adapt to evolving lifestyles while keeping that sense of home.
