Whether we find inspiration in the dark allure of horror films, the intricate beauty of ornamented architecture or the vibrant worlds of comic books and fantasy landscapes, our visual references tell the story of who we are.
”Visual references” means all the images, styles, and aesthetics that inspire us and are part of our identity. They connect our past, present and future, weaving us together with our communities and history. They shape our identity, influencing our way of seeing and creating.
In this workshop, you will dive into your personal visual references, uncovering the images that resonate with you. By bringing them to the surface, you will gain a deeper awareness of how they influence your work and how to use them more intentionally.
This workshop is for designers, illustrators, artists, architects, and other visual artists who wish to expand their practice.
