Business speed dating: designers + furniture manufacturers

Form/Design Center and Southern Sweden Design Days invites you to  a speed dating event with the theme ”Designers + Furniture manufacturers”.

For the coming Southern Sweden Design Days 2022, we have an increased focus on meetings and networking and great emphasis will be placed on opportunities for interaction and social and business networking. As part of this and with the aim of creating synergies and collaborations within the region and also beneficial conditions for inspiring program content during SSDD in May, we arrange a Business speed dating event between designers and furniture manufacturers.

Business speed dating is a great opportunity for you as a designer to find new business connections. The meetings take place without conditions and the participants do not commit to anything.

On a number of occasions during the year, speed dating events are held on Form/Design Center where creators are given the opportunity to meet representatives from selected industries. The concept has been developed in collaboration with Tourism in Skåne and the Open Innovation Arena, with the aim of creating meetings between creators and companies from different industries.

 

Business speed dating is free of charge for all participants.

AGENDA 

Designers register to participate though an open call process during the period 4–21 November. The selection is made based on the opportunities of interesting connections between designers and furniture manufacturers.  

As a designer you will meed 6–8 furniture manufacturers at the event. All designers have the opportunity to meet all of the furniture manufacturers. Each meeting is given 10 minutes. All participants is informed of the schedule and of who else will be participating in advance.
